I was contacted by Andres Nelso, creator of SABER, to do some screen printing for his upcoming project: SABER PAGES. As we began to collaborate, he expressed that he was building a team, and he liked my eye for visuals. I ended up being his right hand man for about a year, helping with design, writing, organizing meetings, leading projects, fostering connections, and so on. Here are some of the spreads I designed, starting out with the merch page for the tees that got the ball rolling.

I remember Andres saying something along the lines of "We are the Avengers for real" in our group chat. There was a dynamic spread of skill and style within the team. Our meetings were fun and productive, and when we had a clear goal (very important) in mind, we would knock it out every time. This was the "Meet the team" spread that I designed for the 2nd edition of PAGES.

Here was the second merch drop, which I designed and printed, and then of course designed the spread.

During that year, we hosted a few events, built out a website, interviewed countless creatives, and made connections between people and resources that might not have otherwise happened. I learned a lot, starting out having never wrote an article or conducted an interview outside of school. It was an excellent experience in business structure, networking, and putting some intention and purpose behind my design skills. Thank you, Andres.
